Welcome to my blog! My name is Alexander Mashkov. I was born and currently live in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
I have traveled and lived in many places, including Russia, but I started this blog while living in Dushanbe. Therefore, most of the posts on the site are related to Tajikistan, which is a good thing because of the mountains.
I spent most of my professional career working in personal security (bodyguard). I had the opportunity to provide security for heads of state, major businessmen in different countries. But that requires abilities and, most importantly, desire. I decided that this was no longer for me.
And so, here I am, blogging. By the way, I had never done activities such as mountain hiking, blogging, photography, video, or writing, especially fiction, before, but I found all of this very interesting. So I started, of course, by learning, trying, and making mistakes.
I cannot judge the end result, but I enjoy this kind of activity, and I hope you will enjoy it too.
Stories about hiking and traveling, real and fictional, and a little bit about cryptocurrencies...
