In the Odzhuk gorge, if you don't cross the second bridge and go straight, you can reach a meadow called "Pensioners' Meadow". A funny name, by the way, apparently because it's not far to walk. Although, I know some pensioners who walk so well that not every young person can keep up with them, regardless of their level of fitness. The gorge that begins after this meadow is also called simply "The Waterfall Gorge".
The gorge itself is small, and if you walk purposefully, you can walk to the end of it in a couple of hours. The gorge is narrow and full of small waterfalls, hence the name. The path to this "Waterfall Gorge," as I mentioned earlier, begins at the second bridge. In the photo, you can see a small trail that goes further beyond the bridge, and that's exactly the trail we need to take.
The path leads us to the already mentioned meadow of pensioners.
Right from the glade, to get to the gorge of the waterfalls, you need to climb this path.
Climbing up, you get to this place, this is the passage to the gorge of waterfalls, the view from here towards the village of Varzob.
View towards the upper reaches of the Odjuk gorge.
View of a clearing, near the road in Ojuk, where there is a container, but it is not visible, trees interfere.
View directly to the "Waterfalls Gorge", in which we are heading.
Literally, after a few hundred meters, the first waterfalls appear.
Here it is worth drawing your attention to the fact that the trail goes along the slope, and the bottom of the gorge is very narrow along its entire length, which is probably why the gorge was named so. If you imagine a moment when there is a lot of water, for example, in the spring, everything is probably boiling and the whole gorge is like a waterfall.
Here is a waterfall, or rather a cascade of small waterfalls.
At the very top, this cascade looks like this.
Somewhere else after fifty or one hundred meters, there is another waterfall.
Well, somewhere with the same frequency, there are waterfalls along the entire length of the gorge.
As we can see, gradually, the rivulet turns into a small trickle, but this trickle has cut through a lot of rocks on its way.
The gorge is small, its end has already seemed.
I'll also throw in a couple of photos of the gorge, which I took along the way.
At the end, the gorge splits into two small canyons.
And directly the path itself rests against such an obstacle, if you climb this ridge, you will see a view of the former pioneer camp "The Seagull".
But we have nothing to climb this ridge. I made a halt, near a small stream, had lunch and headed back.
