I previously posted a photo review of Komsomol Lake in 2014, which was one of my first blog posts. Today, I walked along a similar route, exploring the Javonon Park and a bit of the other side of Komsomol Lake. Starting from the Hyatt hotel, I passed behind it and saw the former rowing base, which is now a sports center, before reaching the beach.
After the Kokhi Navruz complex ends, the Javonon Park starts.
The park now boasts beautiful fountains with colorful lighting.
Landscaped lawns and gardens
The primary entrance to Javonon Park is located adjacent to Frunze Stadium.
The island has been beautified as well - the old barbecue has been removed and replaced with a modern cafe that offers affordable light snacks such as sandwiches, hamburgers, and soft drinks. This is a great solution, in my opinion.
Now let's head over to the promenade.
Beyond the waterfront, the park's pathways continue, now featuring various playgrounds for children, all free of charge.
To continue the children's theme, amusing statues of cartoon characters are installed along the pathways.
The waterfront by the boat station is operational year-round.
I walked around the lake a bit, but not very far as there wasn't anything particularly interesting there yet.
I have arrived and discovered that there used to be a rescue station here. However, it has been removed and only its foundation remains visible in the water.
Just as I returned to the park, the sun began to set. After taking a few more pictures, I headed home.
