The Odjuk gorge, also known as the Canyon of 7 Bridges, is quite extensive, and lovers of long hikes can walk through it all the way to the alpine meadows. Anywhere in the canyon, you will find a cozy spot for resting and camping. I found this description online. It is quite easy to get there from Dushanbe; there are minibusses going to the village of Varzob from the Vodonasosnaya station, and the cost is around 50 cents. You need to get off at the supermarket. I left Dushanbe at around 8 in the morning and arrived at the supermarket at 8:30. The temperature in the city was -1°C, while in the canyon, it was around -4°C to -5°C. The sky was clear, and there was almost no wind, which means the weather was perfect for hiking.
So I headed in that direction, deeper into the village, and this road will lead us straight to the Odjuk gorge.
The village is not remarkable, just ordinary. But behind it, they have built summer cottages up to the second bridge. Before, the area was considered quite natural. As teenagers, we even stopped here for the night. I won't even write about the first bridge; it's far behind, deep in the village. Now the poplars have thinned out, a fence has been installed, and they will be building another summer cottage. Here is the bridge, in fact.
Finally, the village and cottages were left behind, and I went to the mountain expanse.
Jig grove, in the summer everything is green and lush, now so.
I walk here alone, and I feel like I'm in a frozen middle-earth, and it seems like the orcs are going to fall on all sides... :)
I noticed another bridge, and the illusion broke up.
I took photos from the bridge in different directions.
Immediately after the bridge begins a steep climb of 50-60 meters. This is a picture of where we came from, from this rise.
Meanwhile, I am approaching another bridge.
Some pictures from this bridge.
Here is interesting, the sun falls on one side and more mountains became two-tone.
In the sun, the temperature rises immediately, and significantly.
But then again down, and again frost. The river winds between the rocks, the water is crystal clear.
Water and trees create such interesting growths.
Meanwhile, we are met by the next bridge.
Photos from this bridge.
Crossing the bridge, I go out on the Sunny side of the gorge.
But, it's not for long, the trail leads us back into the shadows.
The next bridge is already visible.
A couple of pictures from the bridge.
I want to get there, there's a small waterfall.
You can get there on this bridge, on which people did not go since the snow. Traces only of some small animals.
Here are the photos from this bridge.
Here's the waterfall.
After the waterfall, I decided to go to this mountain instead of going along the gorge.
The sun was warmer and go on the trail became easier.
I came from there.
I'm getting higher and higher.
The path goes on.
It's beautiful around...
At the top of the trail begins to descend deep into the gorge.
At the bottom of the gorge there is another small waterfall.
I decided not to go too deep into the gorge, I stopped right here.
I forgot to bring a spare t-shirt. I'm sweating heavily in the sun. I decided to dry my things, hung them on the stones. In 40 minutes everything dried up, at this time I ate and sunbathed in the sun. Now imagine-the view surrounding me, mountain air, rest, lunch... - It was just an amazing 40 minutes.
Here are some more shots with the surrounding view.
I rested, then went down to this bridge and went back.
