It so happened that I don't usually walk around the city in the evenings, although it does happen, but rarely. And for a long time after arriving in Dushanbe, I couldn't see such attractions as the man-made waterfall and singing fountains in Dushanbe. And yet, I often passed by them, but either in the morning or during the day when they are not operational. I decided to correct this regrettable omission and one evening specifically went to see all of this.
It turned out to be a great evening, Dushanbe is beautiful in the evening, and there are many other places besides the ones I mentioned that I apparently haven't seen at this time, but there is something to see. But when it comes to photos, I'm afraid I can't impress much, as I only have a simple "point-and-shoot" camera, which serious photographers would call inadequate for evening photography. So please don't be too critical of what I have, I took a lot of photos but not many turned out well.
Ismaili Somoni Square, for example, looks very interesting during sunset and when illuminated by streetlights.
From Ismoil Square Somoni walked along the central alley of Rudaki Avenue, the light of the lanterns gave this alley some magical colors.
The alley led us to the singing fountains at the opera, of course, they must be watched live, photographs cannot convey the whole play of light. But, I took the photo so that there was an idea of what is happening there in general, for those readers who are not in Dushanbe now and cannot come and look at the singing fountains.
After admiring and listening to these singing fountains, I went to another wonderful place in Dushanbe. This is a man-made Waterfall, a very interesting idea and a good implementation, indeed, there is something to see. There are a lot of people around the waterfall, there is a park below, people are resting, walking with their families.
Here are photos of this waterfall...
If you go further from the waterfall to the park, there are also fountains with changing lighting.
These are the miracles in Dushanbe in the evenings ...
All the best to you and see you soon.
