Spontaneous hike, when it was offered to me, I didn't really know where we would end up or how we would get there. Despite the uncertainty, the hike turned out to be very successful. There were a lot of impressions, first of all, intriguing old mine tunnels at the beginning of the hike. Secondly, it was very interesting to walk along the watershed ridge, looking down at the gorges that I had already walked through many times at the bottom.
I went on this hike in late May, and the beginning of this hike is already described by me in a photo review dedicated to abandoned fluorite mines in Begar. These fluorite mines were just at the beginning of our path. Therefore, there is no point in describing everything from the very beginning. I will simply start from the moment when we moved away from the last mine and a small waterfall appeared ahead of us.
But first I will lay out the scheme of our campaign from google maps...
Further, everything in order, the photo shows an old dirt road going to the adit, along it we climbed to this place.
Ahead we are met by a small waterfall, the path goes right next to it. From the place from where I shoot it can be seen that the primer is over.
Climbing at the waterfall, we move along the path to the upper edge, which can be seen in the second photo.
How long is it short, but finally we go upstairs, where our path merges with the path that runs along the edge.
And such species meet us from this path - down, left, right - respectively.
And ahead of the ravine, which must be bypassed through the top.
Climbing higher to the place where you can bypass the ravine, I take pictures in different directions.
Through the woods we go to another couloir.
In the first photo, in the foreground is Mount Natasha, and below is the gorge where the Begara waterfalls are located, where I happened to visit last year: see photo review.
That is, in this way, we pass the entire Begar gorge, passing from couloir to couloir, gradually rising. Nothing interesting happened, had lunch, it started raining, routine, in general...
We come to the next edge, which in the end should bring us to the very top. At the opposite end from the top, on the last dais, there is a tent with a herd around it, the dogs barked when they saw us. But luckily we were far from them.
We are still going up, the wind has freshened up, it's good at least the rain is over. The views are getting more interesting.
We come to the place that can be called "the last dash". The first photo, where they came from, the second is this jerk.
It was finished, we climbed, and a view of the Takob gorge opened before us.
I found a place higher and again took pictures in different directions.
Well, actually, further all the photos are in this spirit, from this watershed ridge in different directions.
This photo is towards Dushanbe, the ridge in front of us separates the Begar gorge, it is on the right and the Odjuk gorge on the left. The end of this ridge is the well-known "Natasha" or "Fang" mountain, which is found at the entrance to the Odjuk gorge, after the second bridge.
This is where we are coming from, this whole dividing ridge in such hills. So you have to go, those up, then down.
Takob gorge, either consecration, or a better place, but the photo from here is more beautiful.
And this is where we are going, by the way, a mountain with a green crown on the left, this is exactly the plateau we passed on this hike: Transition from Takob gorge to Odzhuk gorge.
It is already clear how far we are walking along the watershed ridge separating the Takob and Ojuk gorges, right up to the extreme hill in front of the rocky gap. Well, it’s like this, it seems, you can walk this way, but the hike is one day, so you have to go down in the nearest convenient place, and it’s just there.
Here we are on this hill.
Photos from this slide in Takob, Ojuk and on the plateau.
Photo of the same slide from the side, we moved down. No matter how much I wanted to stay here longer, time was running out.
Already lower, go through the forest again, there is a lot of it at the top.
This is an extreme photo, further, there was nothing special to shoot, everyone is familiar with Ojuk. But, to be honest, it was not filmed already, the legs were buzzing...
We went down to the fourth bridge, which is "iron" and returned safely to Dushanbe. Until next time on the pages of my blog.
